Additional Service Terms for CloudLedger Plus
Terminology of this document is subject to the definitions in
the general terms of service.
- Versions of software in the offer
- LedgerSMB: version 1.3, kept up to date with 1.3 releases
Upon customer request, LedgerSMB versions newer than 1.3 may be hosted
- (any other important components??)
- Debian Linux, using these components:
- Treatment of customer owned data
- Upon termination of the customer account, data will be removed
from our storage within 7 days - including from the off-site
backups.
- Data removed after account termination cannot be recovered.
Customers considering account termination should make sure to have
secured relevant data
- Customization of the service
- The service cannot be customized beyond the configuration parameters
offered through the web-interface and the LedgerSMB add-ins which
come with the service by default in the Efficito CloudLedger Basic
offer.
- Backups
- We ensure frequent backups. These backups are meant to restore
service in the event of a major operational failure; these backups
are not available for customer use.
- Customers can download own-use backups
from CloudLedger Plus by themselves.
- Fair use
- You shall not use the service to engage in illegal
activities such as storing and sharing (publicly nor privately)
improper or illegal content.
- Customization access
- Shell account access to the VM running the CloudLedger Plus
solution is available; this access is subject to the following
limitations:
- We cannot guarantee smooth patch version upgrades (1.3.x to
1.3.[x+1]) if your CloudLedger Plus software has been changed;
- We manage the operating system; we can't provide the root
password for the VM.
